Castillo San Felipe del Morro

Walk into over 500 years of history and feel inspired during a visit to the Castillo San Felipe del Morro. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Castillo is a 16th century citadel named to honor King Philip II of Spain. It was created to guard the entrance to the San Juan Bay and defend San Juan. Today, visitors can explore all six levels of El Morro and is among the most scenic destinations in San Juan.

Fortín de San Gerónimo de Boquerón

Built during the 18th century, Fortín de San Gerónimo de Boquerón is a small fort found at the mouth of the Condado Lagoon. It served as San Juan’s first line of defense during the invasions of British forces. Today it stands as a proud landmark of San Juan’s rich history and is set again the breathtaking blue waters.

Fortín del Escambrón

Found on the northern tip of Isleta de San Juan on the Escambrón Beach, Fortín del Escambrón was built between 1771 and 1801. In 2003, the fort underwent renovation to preserve the natural sandstone structure. Today, visitors can view the magnificent structure found just a ten-minute walk from our hotel.

Polvorín San Gerónimo de Boquerón

Castillo de San Cristobal

The fortress covers 27 acres on the eastern gate of the islet of San Juan and consists of three levels.
